Collaborations with Montessori Students
For 20 years, I have been involved with a program begun by a local Montessori school. A community of artists, parents and the students themselves collaborate to produce artwork that supports scholarship funding. As a result of my relationship with this school, I have built a bond with teachers who treasure the innocence of children in an environment that introduces them to the big world that awaits them. The following images are a brief sample of the wondrous works that can be created through collaboration of very young children and patient adults. All were sold as fundraising offerings.
